Otherside Kite Lesson Private

This is why we’re here! Experience learning to kiteboard in some of the most ideal conditions in the entire world. Our beautiful turquoise water is only knee-to-waist deep and stays flat calm even in windy conditions. No waves or shore break for you to contend with. A quick boat ride to our sandbar means no kiteboarder crowds or other obstacles. Our unique teaching methods developed by head instructor Mike Walsh have been tried and true since 1999. Your lesson will cover wind theory, wind-window, set-up, safety, launching, landing, kite control, water relaunch, self-rescue and possibly board skills.

Overview:

• 3 hours
• Sessions run daily (wind-dependent) from October through May.
• 9am or 1:30pm
• All kite equipment is provided
• Booties Required. Wetsuits recommended.
